For this project we were given a ton of leeway to go out and shoot whatever subject we wanted to go along with the theme of street photography. I was at first going to shoot in my hometown of Correctionville IA but when I started taking photos of the town, it was too boring of a town. No one is ever walking the streets nor is there cars on the roads, it basically seems like a ghost town around these times. So since I am a frequent gravel road traveler I decided to do some of the back roads of Iowa. Not many people ever see the beauty behind the highways. I went with the old town vibe and stayed in old towns I have other images from West Bend Iowa as well and I really love how well they turned out!

Hi, I am Brooke , I am 20 years old, I am a photographer from a small town in Northwest Iowa. I love to laugh and have a good time so I spend a lot of time with my friends. I am really family oriented so I try not to go too far from my hometown. I really enjoy driving country roads and listening to music, I always have music playing no matter what. I am a makeup fanatic so if I am not behind the camera you will more than likely find me at my vanity testing out new makeup looks. I can’t get through my day without at least one cup of coffee. I am also shopaholic but I shop at mostly thrift stores and second hand stores. Finding good deals just makes shopping more fun for me. Though being a shopaholic, I love being outside and getting dirty. Hunting and Fishing with my dad and brother is the perfect way to spend a Sunday.
